    3. Sam (Samantha) Sanderson’s mom is an award-winning journalist and her father is a Little Rock police officer. Sam wants to follow in her mother’s footsteps. She is a reporter for her middle school’s newspaper and hopes to become chief editor before going into the ninth grade, because that is the only way a freshman is allowed to write for the paper. In this book the school’s grades are tampered with and Sam along with her bestie, MaKayla, hack into the school’s system to find the virus [...]

    4. I got the chance to read this book for free, in exchange for my honest opinion, through Book Look Bloggers. My Review: I was so happy when I stumbled across this on Book Look Bloggers. Typically I don't read books out of sequence, I have yet to read the first book in this series, which I will eventually read. This book, like the rest in the series, is pretty easy to follow whether you've read the whole series, or just picked up one of the books on a whim.In this third installment of the Samantha [...]

    6. Samantha Sanderson Off The Record is book three in Robin Caroll's tween fiction series and I am liking the developing story lines more and more. The books are targeted at the eight to twelve-year-old and I think they hit the mark. Samantha and her BFF, Makayla, are smart girls with kind hearts but they also have flaws that make the stories relatable to the intended audience. In Off The Record the entire student body is awaiting their report cards. Unfortunately when the cards arrive there are bi [...]

    8. Why I choose this book: As I've said before I write MG fiction so any time I see a good looking MG book I feel the need to gobble it up. Besides, a journalist in middle school? Fun. What I thought: The book was interesting. I wasn't glued to the story but I did want to keep reading and find out what would happen next. It was fun being thrown into Samantha's world and I thought the characters were realistic, relatable and really made the story. I especially liked Samantha's dad. I look forward to [...]

    9. This is my first Samantha Sanderson book that I've read and I liked it. At first, I had a little trouble liking the main character, Sam, but it only took a little while before I grew to like her and her friends. I loved the mystery in this book and it was interesting watching Sam as she researched to find the answers. I loved it that the book was clean, which is something I expect to find in books for children. I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

    10. Love the drama enveloping the typical teenage girl, real straggles, real dreams. I enjoyed the book. Robin helped me to remember, to drift back into my middle and high school years. To see the world of teens. The most what I liked about the book is a happy ending. In real life not many try to achieve the best in their lives, not many have the happy ending.
