    1. I want to quote a line from an outside review by 'Lili' and to echo her insightful sentiments. I also found Posttraumatic interesting, intriguing, absorbing, surprising, violent, sadistic and shocking. This story of the intricacies of the mind, a mind taken over, had even me hooked and the search in the Asylum cellars almost stopped me breathing. I too was saved by the delicious ending.

    2. “Posttraumatic” a superb story; interesting, intriguing, surprising, violent, sadistic and shocking. A story of the intricacies of the mind, a mind taken over; a thrilling read that keeps the reader enthralled throughout. The opera of the asylum is vividly painted; the writing extremely visual, some scenes may halt you, you may question what is written but you will be completely absorbed as the shock, horror and disbelief unfold. I could not put this book down. Author Ronald Simonar kindly l [...]

    3. Dr. Caroline Glyn-Griffith (32, wife/mother, PhD, medical professor) & her deceased husband Dr. Robert Kingsley Griffith (husband/father, brain tumor), were very actively involved in cancer research. Mary Griffith (kindergarten) is their daughter.Babushka is Mary’s rag doll. Krupskaya (5, Aleksei’s daughter) is her new friend. Other members of the research team are: Dr. William Bill Tailor (Project Director, administrator, scientist), Dr. Alice Christian (lab assistant) & Leila Kelle [...]

    4. I received a signed copy of this book through Giveaways - thank you very much - but this has not influenced my review. There's a really good story in here, albeit a brutal, ominous and creepy one. Unfortunately, the story is rather overshadowed by so many errors. The punctuation, grammar and spelling are appalling, along with strange dialogue which seems full of crass clichés and doesn't sound at all natural or real - at least for the American characters. (I don't know about the Russian charac [...]

    5. I have never read an uncorrected proof and found it hard going at times because of the foreign names.Other than that I really enjoyed the fast paced, sometimes frightening but almost believable story.A riveting psychological thriller that had my heart pounding at times. The description of Washington DC brought the capital to life and also showed a different side to that that we usually see.The asylum was really scary, just by thought of it at the beginning and after entering it toward the end of [...]

    6. Am not sure about this book. Has Russian mob, our politicians, a Dr. seeking a cure for cancerrture, murder and children. Had a dirty cop who rapes a 15 year old comatose girl. A murder of one child and kidnapping of another. Then the female dr. seeking a cancer cure is body snatched by a dead mob boss. Read abd try to figure it out yourself. Am still confused but was interested enough to finish even though many scenes were sickening.

    7. *I won this book through a giveaway* I really enjoyed the idea of this story. Honestly I wanted more. Some parts seemed unnecessary and others weren't thourough enough. There were numerous editing issues that were irritating while reading. (i.e. words missing, wrong pronoun used) The story ended too soon and too "neatly" for me but I enjoyed reading it!

    8. A riveting psychological thriller that was over before I was ready to let it go. I read Posttraumatic in one sweep and the story held me enthralled. There is a sort of humorous kindness in there that takes the edge of some nauseating scenes and there are so many beautifully written passages.

    9. Just beginning this ' giveaway win. The author noted this was once a screenplay and I feel that some of the choppiness I'm seeing at the beginning is a result of the conversion into a novel.

    10. It took this book awhile to get going but then I liked it. The characters are darker then some others I've read.
